Player Talk Abbas Afridi | Good, bad or ugly?

Umar Gul's nephew, Abbas Afridi has a reputation of being a death overs specialist and he takes wickets, but he takes them at high costs.

Currently playing for Karachi Kings on a platinum contract, hasn't looked in the best of rhythms in both games so far.

In Pakistan colors, he has gone for 9+ rpo in literally every second match so far at international level.

Went for 10+ rpo in National T20 in his 3 outings. Did not have a good BPL as well.

In 2024, he took 12 wickets at 8.75 rpo from 11 domestic T20 matches playing for teams like Shaheens, Dolphins etc.

In the recent BPL, he had an ER of 9.08 with 2 wickets from 3 games.
