Looking at the fan videos and the "craze" around Babar in Faisalabad, which would be understandable in normal circumstances, but we just lost a test series to Bangladesh.
I still remember the anger, shock and outrage of the fans after the 2007 World Cup. We had superstars back then too, but people were genuinely upset at that team at that time, and rightly so.
Now we've lost to USA and a test series to Bangladesh, but there's barely any public outrage and people are still clamoring to see their favourite cricketer(s) despite a lack of both individual and team performances.
If the fans don't care about the performances, then why would the players want to improve?
