Welcome to Season 5 of CorneredTigers PSL Dynasty League - Our most prestigious fantasy draft league competition on-going since the creation of this forum.
Current Franchise Managers:
To encourage active participation, managers will be rewarded for exceeding the minimum required post count during the tournament.
For every additional post beyond the required minimum, the manager will earn Rs. 25 per extra post (max cap of Rs 7k).
Note: No activity bonus for knockout phase!
At the end of the Dynasty League, each franchise manager will be rewarded based on their final ranking. The higher you finish, the bigger your cash prize!
1st Place: Rs. 50,000
2nd Place: Rs. 25,000
3rd Place: Rs. 15,000
4th Place: Rs. 10,000
🎖 5th Place: Rs. 5,000
The 1st Place winner will also be rewarded with CT's Dynasty League Badge.
Note: Any surviving manager failing to get minimum post count for knockout phase will not get the Cash Prize + CT Badge.
Example: In case you decide to retain 1 Platinum Player + 2 Diamond Players + 1 Silver Player only, then that costs you [Rs 3k+2.5k+2.5k+1.5k] = Rs. 9500 so your leftover budget for Player Drafts will be X - Rs. 9500= left over budget (where X is your total purse amount) to pick the remaining 11-12 players at the drafts.
Any franchise found with an invalid Final XI during the course of the tournament will be penalized with deduction of 5% points OR all players' points earned during the offense period.

FRANCHISE MANAGERS:
- Each franchise must consist of minimum 2 and max 3 managers who are active CT posters
- Each manager must achieve the minimum post count (in main forum sections) within the date range as per below table. Any manager failing to get 150 posts within each date range will be disqualified with immediate effect and a financial penalty of Rs. 1500 would be applied on each one of his active franchise co-managers.
- Each individual current/new manager must sign up and formally announce the franchise they would be managing. If you are an existing manager, you are allowed to switch to another franchise.
- Each franchise should also come up with a unique name which would be used as their brand identification from this season onwards

CASH REWARDS:
Activity Bonus for Franchise Managers:
To encourage active participation, managers will be rewarded for exceeding the minimum required post count during the tournament.

Example Calculation:
If a manager makes 250 posts between 21st April – 1st May during the group phase:- Required minimum = 150 posts
- Excess posts = 250 - 150 = 100 posts
- Bonus earned = 100 × Rs. 25 = Rs. 2,500

FRANCHISE AND DYNASTY RULES:
- All franchises must pick a squad of min. 15 players and max 16 players.
- All franchise teams must pick exactly 3 Platinum players + exactly 3 Diamond Players
- All franchise teams must pick 3 Gold + 3 Silver players. ONLY in case there are no Gold players available anymore, the franchise will be allowed to pick 2 Gold + 4 Silver players without any Wildcard.
- All franchise teams must pick exactly 2 Emerging players
- All franchise teams must pick min 1 and max 2 players in Supplementary category (as per budget). However, you must pick 1 player from the supplementary category whereas the 2nd player could be from any other category.
- All franchise teams should pick no more than 4 players in your squad from the same PSL team. This is also applicable while doing Player Replacements.
FRANCHISE BUDGET:
- You will use your team purse (Franchise managers' collective CT bank accounts) during Player Retentions + Player Drafts.
- You will also have regular Player Replacement & Trade windows during the course of PSL X season where all franchises will be allowed to replace one or more of their players from the available pool of players or trade players with other franchises AS LONG AS they don’t run out of money/exceed their purse or break Squad Rules w.r.t. player categories i.e. you have to replace/trade a platinum with platinum or emerging with emerging etc.
DRAFT RULES:
- This season, we shall NOT be using a snake order.
- We shall draft as per a random draft order which will be different for each round.
- We shall start from drafting Platinum 1 to 3, then Diamond 1 to 3, then Gold 1 to 3, then Silver 1 to 3, then Emerging 1 & 2 and lastly Supplementary 1 & 2
- ONEWILDCARD available to all franchises. You can use it only in Diamond round (pick player from Gold, Silver or Supplementary category). Use it in Gold round (pick player from Silver or Supplementary category) or use it in Silver round (pick player from Supplementary category). Wildcard cannot be used to pick a player from Emerging category.
- During the Emerging rounds, it is allowed to pick players from Supplementary category who are eligible to qualify as emerging players.
- 16 rounds total, 20 minutes deadline for each pick (incl. double picks)
- No delays allowed. For last round, if a franchise misses the deadline, then a random player to be picked for that franchise by league commissioner.
DRAFT COSTS:
- Platinum Players: Rs. 2000 to 2500
- Diamond Players: Rs. 1500 to Rs. 1950
- Gold Players: Rs. 1000 to 1450
- Silver Players: Rs. 500 to 950k
- Emerging Players: Rs. 300 to 450
- Supplementary Players: Value to be assigned by League Commissioner as per player calibre
- RTM: Franchises will be allowed to use only ONE “Right to Match” card on any one of released players from last season. However, using RTM will cost that franchise a whopping Rs. 4000 regardless of player value.
- Wildcard: ONE “Wildcard” pick would cost a whopping Rs. 3000 regardless of player value.
PLAYER RETENTIONS:
- This season, each retention will exhaust a pre-defined category value as per below table.
- This season, each franchise can retain a maximum of 6 players. You can retain max 2 players from platinum and max 2 players from diamond category. They would be allowed to retain as many players from other categories as they like.
- Platinum Players: Rs. 3000
- Diamond Players: Rs. 2500
- Gold Players: Rs. 2000
- Silver Players: Rs. 1500
- Emerging Players: Rs. 1000
- Supplementary Players: Same as Player's Base Price

PLAYING 11 CHANGES:
- Your final XI should have min. 3 and max. 4 foreign players; and at least 1 emerging player required
- Once tournament starts, each player change you make on CW will cost you Rs. 1500 on CT.
- Changing a captain will cost you Rs. 3000 on CT.
- You must announce all your player & captain changes in this thread or in PM to draft commissioner.
- You are free to make changes on CW whenever you like, provided you have enough Rupees on CT and modifications left on CW.
- At the end of the tournament, any team (aggregate of all partners' purses) having negative rupees on CT will have 1% CW points deducted for every -100 rupees
- Changes should follow the cricketweb rules (like no. of max modifications, team budget rules etc) or whatever website/app we shall use for this year's tournament.

PLAYER REPLACEMENTS:
- In case you want to replace an existing or add any new player in your squad for whatever reason, you can only do so from the pool of unpicked players from the Drafts day.
- Replacing/Adding a player in your squad will cost you Rs. 3000 on CT. (Additional Rs. 1500 cost if you want to place him in your Playing 11).
- In case you don't announce your player and another team buys the same player and announces it in the thread will get the first preference.
- You can only buy a player from the pool to replace a same contract player in your squad.
- You cannot replace a player if it exceeds the "4 player quota from same team" rule.
DRAFT ORDER LUCKY DRAW:
Next, each franchise must submit 1 randomized draft order via DM using the following website. Be fair, as I shall personally review each of your submissions and altering it to ensure you are not deliberately modifying it to favour your own franchise in each round or trying to hurt another franchise by putting them on last picks.
Then each of those submitted draft orders will be assigned a random letter (from A to F) which will only be known to me (it will be DMed beforehand to Test User to ensure transparency) and on a given day, one of the forum members will be randomly asked to pick one letter from A to F. The draft order assigned to that letter will become our final one through a process of that lucky draw.
