This thread is about PSL
UAE has more than one stadium man.
Don't know they might have the remaining group games there, maybe split the location of the play offs and then of course the final. It's too hot during the day so wanna think of player safety, Pakistan has to show hospitality towards the foreign players, there is no rush to finish it off the PSL so take your time i say.

Bro, at the risk of offending some, some people seem to care more about some stupid cricket game and calling it retaliation rather than the dead count that is rising in Pakistan.
Yup noticed this as well with several people, some people are also claiming it’s a win for Pakistan if this whole thing ends as is.

Remaining PSL matches likely to be played in Rawalpindi: sources

PSL administration working on plan to gather all teams in Islamabad after Pak-India ceasefire, say sources

  • Franchises have been asked to "keep foreign players in Dubai".
  • Local players also told to prepare for upcoming matches.
  • PCB announced indefinite postponement of PSL matches.

LAHORE: After the formal announcement of ceasefire between Pakistan and India on Saturday, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchises have been asked to keep foreign players in Dubai, signaling the resumption of the league, sources told Geo News.

The sources revealed that the PSL administration contacted the franchises following the announcement of the Pakistan-India truce. The franchises have also asked the local players to prepare for the upcoming matches.

It was learnt that the PSL administration started working on a plan to gather all teams in Islamabad, and the remaining matches are likely to be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

A day ago, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the indefinite postponement of the remaining eight matches of the PSL Season 10 in light of the deteriorating regional security situation.

The decision followed a significant spike in hostilities along the Line of Control (LoC), including the incursion of 78 Indian drones and the firing of surface-to-surface missiles, which the PCB termed as “reckless aggression” from India.

The PCB expressed full solidarity with the families of martyrs and security personnel, and thanked all stakeholders — franchises, players, sponsors, broadcasters, and fans — for their continued support during the tournament.

The board also acknowledged the emotional toll on players, particularly foreign cricketers, and respected the concerns of their families seeking their safe return home.

The latest escalation in the decades-old Pakistan-India rivalry began on May 7 when at least 31 civilians were killed in an unprovoked Indian cross-border attack. In retaliation, Pakistan downed its five fighter jets, including three Rafale, and dozens of drones.

The postponement came when the PSL 10 was in its final stage, with only eight matches remaining.

After 27 matches, Quetta Gladiators, already qualified for the playoffs, lead the points table with six wins, two losses and one no result from nine matches.

Karachi Kings are in second place with 10 points, having secured five wins and three losses in eight matches. Defending champions Islamabad United sit in third position, also with 10 points, following five wins and four losses from nine games.

Lahore Qalandars are in fourth place with nine points, having secured four wins, four losses, and one no-result. Peshawar Zalmi are in fifth position with eight points from four wins in nine matches.

Multan Sultans have been eliminated from playoff contention after securing only one win and suffering eight defeats in their nine matches.

I'll be very surprised to see who comes at the moment, India will do anything to destroy Pak's reputation so as foreign players think twice before visiting.

I'll wait to here from the PSL X/Twitter account before i believe any news.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially rescheduled the remaining eight matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10, with the tournament now set to resume from May 17 and conclude on May 25.

According to the sources, the matches will begin in Rawalpindi, marking a shift from the earlier proposal to host the remaining fixtures in Lahore.

The PSL X final has been scheduled for May 25, bringing the tournament to a close after a week of uncertainty and scheduling complications.

Franchise teams have been directed to report in Islamabad on May 14, giving players a two-day window to arrive and prepare.

While Lahore was previously considered as a host venue, sources indicated that logistical and operational challenges—particularly concerning broadcasters—prevented finalization of multiple venues.

Broadcasters had reportedly faced logistical hurdles in managing two separate venues, leading to the decision to centralize the matches in Rawalpindi.

The PCB is now working on issuing a revised and official schedule in the coming days.

Despite earlier disputes regarding foreign player participation, the tournament is now moving toward conclusion with unified efforts from PCB and the franchises.
