To me he is already looking better than the last 2-3 captains we have had in tests!!

Been smart with field placements.....those setups for Head and Warner won me over. Atleast he has tried to make things happen

I mean let's be honest, the bar set by Babar was immensely LOW.

But Shan is a clever operator, so no surprise that he's a good captain (will probably show it in PSL too). Issue with him isn't the captaincy, it's the fact his place in the squad is questionable (as well as why he was given the captaincy in the first place...)

Much better captain than Babar. if he carries on scoring, then no questions will be asked. The biggest blunder he made was keeping Abdullah at slip during the second innings. Otherwise, he was good and even though it was a good bowling pitch, taking 20 wickets is an improvement and we competed decently for once.

Thing was back then, the guy getting beaten up also knew he messed up and chup char mar khale tha. Then came the era of Afridi, Asif, etc. throwing bats at each other in the dressing room.

Strongly agree - Shan Masood needs to take over. Anyone else made captain from the current team it’s going to be the same old story. I think Masood as captain will add some much needed stability and tbh his recent t20 form hasn’t been too bad domestically. Play him in at 3 or 4 where he has shined before in the t20 wc 22

This is a good team it fills the modern day requirements, aggressive batters,diversity in bowling which includes having a death specialist,new ball bowler, a bowler who bowls at good length at the deck,then quality spinners(abrar and Mehran and saim if he improves), and two proper allrounders,and batting till 8 or 9
