PAK Should Salman Ali Agha lead Pakistan in all formats?

Some rumours suggest PCB maybe be thinking about handing the captaincy of all formats to Salman Agha.

Assuming this is true, how do you feel about this?

Personally I think it would be terrible idea. The last thing we need is more random changes that destabilize the team. Also, the reason why this T20 team is looking decent under Agha is because they are playing as a unit just like the old Pakistani teams under Babar. One of the major benefits of having a really young team.

Just go with 3 separate captains for the 3 formats and give them a fair run for sometime until they don't deserve to be removed.

Not sure if there is another country as obsessed as us with having same captain for all three formats. Our players can’t handle this much power and responsibility and as a result team’s as well as their own performances suffer.

I agree with the comments here. I think that separating captains is the sensible approach. At the very least Tests and Limited Overs should be separated. Hopefully they don’t make this decision as it will put too much responsibility on Agha.

Absolute fools if this happens. Hardly any nation has 1 captain across all formats now, it’s simply too much burden for one man.

Salman literally just won his 1st Series as captain and they want to jump the gun already. No patience at all with their decision making.

Agha is the flavor of the month. Don’t see it being long term.

Agha should only continue in Limited Overs for now. Saud could be made captain if they want to go for somebody else in Tests

i think we may see him as a captain in all formats very soon. He seems an okay player, enjoying his purple patch but i fear pcb is again taking a wrong decision because despite his good form, Agha seems a limited player who will be exposed sooner rather than later.

It's not a bad idea to be fair, but unfortunately there are no Misbahs or Imran Khans that are in the wings. We had people but we chose not to develop them.

Test Captaincy should stay with Shan Masood. Limited overs captain should be Salman Agha.
