Welcome to the 2nd Edition of CT’s WTC Legacy League (2025–2027)!
Draft your team. Back your players. Conquer the Test world.
DRAFT RULES:
- Max Squads: 7 teams
- Snake Draft Order
- You will draft 16 unique Test players. Refer to the embedded Google Sheet below to check the "PLAYER CATEGORIES" tab.
- Category "A" players will cost Rs. 3k per player, Category "B" players will cost Rs. 2k per player, Category "C" players will cost Rs. 1k per player.
- You can also pick any player from Category "D" or outside of this sheet at Rs. 0 cost.
- No player can be picked twice
Squad Requirements:
- You have to draft at least 1 player from each of the 9 WTC nations (AUS, ENG, IND, NZ, PAK, RSA, WI, SL, BAN)
- Max 2 players per country
- Or max 3 players from any 1 country
- No role restrictions: Pick any combo of batters, keepers, bowlers, or all-rounders.
FANTASY COMPETITION:
You don’t need to enter your team anywhere. We’ll do the score aggregation for you using data from CricketWeb’s Fantasy archive:

- NOTE: Anyone with a negative Rs. balance during the series points calculation will incur a 1% points deduction for every Rs. 1,000 in deficit from that WTC series. Avoid spamming and it will be ignored from your post count!
CAPTAINCY RULES:
Before every new Test series begins, name one captain from your squad.
- Your captain earns 2x fantasy points.
- If multiple series are ongoing, you will select only ONE captain for each series.
- You must name your captain before the series starts.
- You can’t assign a captain for multiple future series in advance.
- Captain item will cost Rs. 1000 to each manager in the team and will be available for purchase in the CT Shop.
NEW: POWER PLAY CARD
Each squad gets one Power Play per year (2 total during the whole WTC cycle).- Declare it before any series to earn 3x points from your captain.
- You can’t combine Captain and Power Play in the same series.
- If both are activated by mistake, no points will be awarded (warning will show on the google sheet tracker).
- Power Play Card item will cost Rs. 3000 to each manager in the team and will be available for purchase in the CT Shop.
NEW: PLAYER OF THE SERIES BONUS
If any of your players wins the official Player of the Series award:
- They’ll earn an additional +200 bonus points.
- Only applies if they’re in your squad during that series.
NEW: ACTIVITY BONUS
We want active CT community members to be rewarded!
- Squad members who actively post about the series in the "Neutral Tours" threads may be awarded a +50 points Activity Bonus for each player (if in the team squad for that series)
- Decided "subjectively" by league commissioner at the end of each series.
- To be decided on basis of non-spam and distributed posts throughout the course of the series, collectively by each manager in a team.
- This will be applicable only for Test series "not" involving Pakistan i.e. only for "Neutral Tours"
REPLACEMENTS:
- Player replacements will be allowed during the cycle.
- During the cycle, you can replace max 1 player per country in your squad at a cost of Rs. 10k for each manager in the team
- You cannot pick a replacement player if he was picked as a replacement by another manager before you.
- You cannot pick a replacement player if he was released by you at any point in the league competition.
- A new player picked by you will be rewarded points only from his next series onwards (i.e. no points for any series already in progress). You will also lose points from the currently in-progress series for the released player.
OPTIONAL: MID-CYCLE REPLACEMENT DRAFT (TBD)
- A one-time replacement draft may be held mid-cycle (around mid-2026).
- If approved, teams may replace up to 3 players.
- Reverse leaderboard order: bottom team picks first, top team last. No snake order!
LEGACY LEAGUE WINNER:
The squad with the most points at the end of the WTC Final 2027 will:- Be crowned the CT Legacy League Champion
- Retain CT’s imaginary Test Mace
- Receive an exclusive Cornered Tigers Test Badge
PRIZE DISTRIBUTION:
At the end of the WTC League, each franchise manager will be rewarded based on their final ranking. The higher you finish, the bigger your cash prize!
1st Place: Rs. 50,000
2nd Place: Rs. 40,000
3rd Place: Rs. 30,000
4th Place: Rs. 20,000
5th Place: Rs. 15,000
6th Place: Rs. 10,000
7th Place: Rs. 5,000
